Newcastle Trip

I didn't get my usual walk today as we took the grandchildren to Fort Scratchly and then on to the Anzac Walk. I took my camera because I have seen Nankeen Kestrels hunting along the cliff tops before. Sure enough one showed up and I got a few nice shots of it. I particularly like the one above as it hovers with Merewether Beach Baths in the background.

It caught a lizard while we were watching it. That was a bit of a surprise because I thought it would have been too cold for lizards to be around.
