Budgewoi - Golden Whistlers
I spent the afternoon at the Ocean St carpark and boardwalk today. And in the process I met up with Steve Merrett. We found quite a few Golden Whistlers singing quite vociferously in the trees on the road into the carpark. There was also a female Leaden Flycatcher in the area too.
Other birs observed included Little Wattlebird, Grey Fantail, Fantailed Cuckoo, and the every present Willie Wagtails and Superb Fairy-wrens. The dominan male Fairy-wren was in full colour.
There was no sign of the Rose Robin this time around.
