I drove out to Budgewoi in the hope of finding the Rose Robin photographed by Steve Merritt. No luck.
- A few Eastern Spinebills were playing on the Weemala Walk and later on the Ocean St Walk.
- I saw a few Brown Thornbills on some of the dead scrub, but the vanished quickly.
- There were a lot of Little Wattlebirds as usual.
- A couple of Grey fantails were working over the edge of the bush area.
- There was a White-bellied Sea-eagle a long way out to sea.
- As I was leaving I noticed a Spangled Drongo about 50 metres south of the Ocean St carpark.
