A discussion arose on the Cbong Facebook site about butcherbirds today so I collected up this information to help people to understand what they see. There are two species of Butcherbirds in the Cooranbong area; Pied Butcherbirds and Grey Butcherbirds. While they are similar, the adults are relatively easy to identify.
